YOU ARE CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Daughter,
Do you see? Do you perceive? I AM doing a new thing! It is time for you to rise up to your calling I gave you. I have called and chosen you for such a time as this. Now is not the time to shrink back but to be bold and of single purpose for My kingdom. You are to carry My light and truth into this dark world and bring glory to My Holy name. You have been chosen for such a time as this just as Esther was put in the royal palace to save her people through her obedient fasting and being bold to go into the king’s presence when she was not summoned. I desire My people to rise up like Esther and be bold. Do not fear the darkness. Do not fear evil people. Only fear Me, the LORD Almighty who is King of all things in heaven and earth. You were born for such a time as this. You have been hidden but soon you will be seen and heard. I will put an anointing on you and give you the confidence through Christ and His authority. You are equipped to do My work and have all you need to complete your assignment. Do not be concerned but trust me continually and seek Me daily. I will give you instructions when the time comes. Listen and obey. The Holy Spirit will lead you. Your assignment will come at the proper time.

Spirit of Doubt

Doubting Thomas is a familiar moniker among Christians. Many of us have read about this disciple in the Gospel of John and his lack of faith after Jesus was resurrected from the grave. Despite the testimony of the two women,  Mary Magdalene and the other Mary who went to His tomb and the disciples who had been present when Jesus came to them in Galilee and saw Him in the flesh, Thomas remarked, " Except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe." (John 20:24-25) Thomas made a choice not to believe. Instead, he determined to have a conditional belief, based not just on seeing Jesus, but touching Him. Thomas doubted the reality of the risen Savior. The dictionary defines doubt as, " a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction." The Narrow Path

This morning I took my dog Jules, for a walk on a favorite trail before it became too hot to enjoy with a forecast of 92 degrees. We headed down the shady trail through the woods along a windy creek and Jules ran excitedly ahead, her innate hunting skills kicking in to find any small game nearby. I was enjoying the gentle breeze and quietness of the walk, watching my dog dart in and out of the trees and up and down the embankment with great speed and agility. We had gone at least a mile down the trail when I felt sure she must be thirsty as I came near an opening in the wooded area leading down a hill towards another creek. It invited a thirsty canine to drink despite the high grass and weeds.
